Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some of your most frequently asked questions about cosmetic surgery procedures like breast implantsliposculpture and abdominoplasty. Remember that your Dr. Davoudi is best able to answer your specific questions based on his personal evaluation of your desired needs and expectations.

What are the costs involved in my procedure and will insurance cover any of the cost?

Everyone’s situation is unique. During your initial complementary consultation, we will provide you with the fee for you procedure including the surgical fees and any opt-operative car. (i.e. the fee for liposuction is determined on the amount of work that will be performed and how many areas are involved.) Insurance will cover some procedures. (i.e. removal of lesions, medically necessary breast reductions, and breast reconstructions due to Cancer). We will follow up with your insurance to ensure that you are getting the highest level of benefits that are available to you.

What will happen at my Initial Consultation?

You will first meet with our patient coordinator to discuss your motivation for seeking cosmetic surgery. You will then meet directly with Dr. Davoudi to further discuss you individual expectations and goals. A full exam will be performed on the specific area of concern. Dr. Davoudi will then demonstrate what the results can be with the use of graphics and computer models. The best procedures and options will then be discussed and presented to you along with a detailed quote on the price for the agreed upon procedure(s).

Where are the procedures performed?

Dr. Davoudi believes in performing all procedures in the safest environment possible. All his surgeries are performed at the conveniently located Outpatient Center at Gwinnett Medical Center–Duluth. The Outpatient Center provides patients with compassionate and superior clinical care.

What will the scar look like?

The length of the scar depends on the skin laxity present on a patient. The most effective way of getting rid of loose skin and fat is surgical removal. Dr. Davoudi’s goal is always to try and keep the scars short and low enough to be hidden.
